I began painting when I retired fron the Civil Service in 1997, attending local classes with Marshall Dixon. In 2001/2002 I attended a full time Art and Design Course at Lauder College. Not much painting but great variety in crafts and media. It was also great fun. My subjects have been wide and varied as I tried new mediums and techniques but I enjoy painting mainly in Acrylics and Pastels.
