The club Gallery in Unit 22 of the Kingsgate Shopping Centre completed its six weekly changeover of exhibits this week and reopened to the public today (October 16th). Items on display include a number of paintings inspired by Syd Reeves’ 2014 Remembrance Painting Challenge. As part of this initiative, the club has agreed to donate the hanging fees paid by members plus any commission earned on sales of the commemorative paintings to Poppy Scotland. Additionally, the artists themselves are encouraged to donate, at their discretion, either a proportion of or all the proceeds from sales to Poppy Scotland. We hope you will find time to visit the Gallery during our regular opening hours (12 noon until 4 every Thu, Fri, Sat and Sun) and enjoy what is on offer.
